Position:       Clinical Services Manager: 0.6FTE 6 hour days-flexible hours to meet needs

• Provides nursing department leadership to all levels of nursing staff to coordinate resident care and quality work as part of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality resident care outcomes
• Promotes interdisciplinary, resident centered, evidence informed approach to care
• Acts as professional nursing resource to interdisciplinary team in accordance with Care Home regulations, guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Provides leadership in quality committees/work and human resource management
• Works as unit nurse or manager as required.
• Reports directly to the Director of Care and acts as DOC nursing administrative designate

Qualifications:   The candidate must be available to

• Work days/modified days, on call, and a possible weekend rotation
• Graduate of a CRNM or CRPNM approved school of nursing and registered in the Province of Manitoba
• Baccalaureate Nursing degree and formal supervisory education preferred
• Current clear checks for Criminal Record (with Vulnerable Sector), Child Abuse Registry, and Adult Abuse Registry
• Experience in a supervisory/management role for 3-5 years
• Experience in Geriatric and Dementia care for +4 years
• Proven positive team leadership abilities and Behavior Management skills
• Experience using MDS, RL6 and Microsoft Office suite software
• Support a holistic spiritual philosophy of care with positive leadership and human relations skills
• Other specific orientation may be required
• Enrollment into a HEBP benefit plan is required
• Availability, previous job performance, attendance factors, seniority as related to hours worked, experience in dementia related geriatric care, and PIECES/CAUSED education or equivalent considered.
